[Mother Hawaii Staff Team]
Mother Hawaii's staff has been trained by a supervisor with more than 10
years of experience in home care in Hawaii, and has a wealth of experience
in home care support, home-visit care, day services, and facilities in
Japan.
All of Mother Hawaii's staff have completed our prescribed training.
Most of our staff hold NA and CNA licenses recognized in Hawaii. All staff members are required to pass a general and criminal background check + a TB test.
Mother Hawaii's training includes;
Basics of Care
Assistance in getting in and out of wheelchairs and wheelchair transfers,
Assistance to customers who can walk on their own,
Walking assistance for elderly people who need help,
Assistance in getting in and out of vehicles,
Assistance in changing clothes,
Knowledge in assisting with personal care,
Care that Supports Human Rights and Dignity,
Knowledge of Dementia,
Knowledge of the characteristics and communication of the elderly,
Knowledge of infectious diseases,
Knowledge of cooking methods,
and other training.
